Lecturers in Malaysian Private Universities are in Pathetic situation

The big issue here is the pay of the lecturer. Unless lecturers are being wouldn't), who wants to take an enourmous pay cut to become a lecturer no matter how great the passion is? At the end of the day, they still need to pay their bills.

Are private colleges willing to the pay good salary to a lecturer? we can't blame them. They have been paid the lowest salary in Malaysia. Sooner or later most of the private university lecturers are going to leave the industry unless the government is willing to look into this problem seriously.

Many lecturers left the education industry as they believe that there is no future for education industry in Malaysia, especially private universities or colleges.

Private lecturers in Malaysia are treated like a normal paid salary worker. There is no respect for them in a private universities. They are forced to perform marketing, administration work etc.

What is happening to MQA. They are still sleeping comfortably in an air con building with no sense of responsibility.

I believe unless the private lecturers are given the financial need (of which most of the lecturer? they would cross over to other industries or move to overseas.
