Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that he is willing to guarantee the safety of renowned Thai pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand but requires more details of the alleged threats against her.
“If she can tell me what the threats against her are today, tomorrow I will guarantee her safety to attend court,” he told journalists at a press conference at the Parliament House lobby.
Hishammuddin said Pornthip would have to furnish more information on the alleged threats against her before he could respond to the Thai pathologist.
“What she has made is just a general statement. It’s very difficult for us to give an assurance because we don’t know the threat she is talking about.”
WTF is this moron talking about?! You expect her to say: “I want you to protect me from the sketchy looking man in the long sleeve blue t-shirt?”
Which part of “guarantee safety” does he not understand? Does the Secret Service keep the President safe from only specific threats that he complains about?

This cajones-less man, now faced with the prospect of Dr. Porntip actually coming back to testify, has to back track and make up some cock and bull story about why he is now going back on his word – because we all know what a disaster it will be for BN when the truth comes out.
