Fear losing Malay muslim votes?
Or fear of being branded an Indian extremist?
The issue here is especially the poor Indians being denied scholarships and Matriculation.
But why is this good doctor diverting the issue into an Indian rich aad Indian poor issue (See The Star 17/6/10 at page N 18). This is the classical eleven Indian PKR, DAP and PAS MP diversionary tactics.
The real issue is only an estimated 0.1% of the scholarships have been given to the Indians in the race and religion based selection criteria. But there are no takers for this issue. None of the 76 Mandores in Pakatan will speak up on it.
Is it because their own community is favoured?
The good Dr. Jeyakumar and the 10 other Indian MPs and thousands of elite Indians while claiming to be ‘multi-racial’ are however quick and easy to talk on rich Indians taking away poor Indians scholarships. Why not also the rich Malay muslims taking away the poor Indians scholarship and higher education opportunities? Likewise the rich Chinese? Neither did any of the 10 other Pakatan Indian MP mandores who are assigned to portray the Indian ‘face’ in PKR, DAP or PAS will speak up on this!
Why? Unless this is not part of socialism or their brand of ‘multi racialism’.
To us this is a convenient brand of multi-racialism, arising from their minority complex, inferiority complex, and not wanting to be seen as communalist Indian.
But never mind the Indian poor having been denied these scholarships and higher educational opportunities in over the last 53 years. Never mind if a top 12As science student, a Balamurugan potential Specialist Radiologist get to merely qualify as a Diploma Radiographer. The PKR, DAP and PAS top leaders will never speak up an these injustices as the victims are merely the Indians.
Yet they will rush to speak if the victims were Malays or Chinese!
All what matters to these ‘multi-racial’ Indian MP mandores and the Indian elite is their ‘multi -racial” image, and the very ‘magnanimous’ non racial position and stance, ie., not speaking up for their community. They fear losing the 60% malay votes and/or their business.
This is exactly what the PKR, DAP and PAS Tuans, Tuan Hajis and Towkays expect of them as showcase and showpiece mandores for PKR, DAP and PAS. How there are these eleven Indian mandores any different from UMNO’s MIC mandores?
And similarly the Indian elite get to cari makan, get their promotions, salary, increments and business from the Malay muslims and Chinese.
These Indian elite refuse to see that these Indian professionals are a dying breed in the racist and supremacist UMNO led Malay-sian regime and will also affect their grand children and great grand children, if not their children who they may succeed in pulling through real multi racialism which also includes speaking up against Malay and Chinese racism and supremacy in this country.
Unless if one has selfish reasons then they should not hide behind ‘multi-racialism’ and further contribute towards the degeneration of the sixth generation Malaysian Indians.
