Mooting this idea today in the Parliament, PAS's Parit Buntar member of parliament Mujahid Yusof Rawa (pic) lamented that the current 'Constitution and Nationalism' subject (SPK) introduced in the secondary school was not sufficient as it was not part of the core subjects. Mujahid added that the inclusion of such a subject should a starting point to the establishment of Constitutional Courts so that nobody can exploit the people's ignorance through manipulation of such issues as Malay special rights and position of Malay Rulers, Malay language and status of Islam, which are enshrined in the Constitution. Muhajid’s proposal was however met with pessimism by the deputy Education minister Dr Ahmad Fuad, saying his ministry had not decided to create a special subject in schools to deal specifically with the Constitution, and added that the current syllabus adequately addressed the issue. “In the subject of History, students are exposed to the background of the constitution based on a series of events through a topic called ‘State and Nation Building Towards the Emergence of National Sovereignty’ in Form five,” he said. 17/10/10 |

How Malaysians watch their pathetic and idiotic programmes?
How shall we deal with these racists?
They are not bothered of the existence of Indian communities in Malaysia.
How does MIC deals with this problem? As usual no issue for them.
It is high time for Indians to demand for a FREE AIR TV station for their own community as they have been deprived by their own government to serve minority community.
