BN parties praise their own congress, "proud" of Najib's reforms BUT what reform noone knows as he is good at talking

More than 2,000 delegates attended the congress
They described the message by Prime Minister and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in his keynote address at today's BN convention as having injecting enthusiasm in them and BN members to restore the people's confidence in the coalition.

KUALA LUMPUR - Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders Sunday expressed their readiness to carry out political reforms and strengthen cooperation among component parties in preparation for the next general election.

They described the message by Prime Minister and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in his keynote address at today's BN convention as having injecting enthusiasm in them and BN members to restore the people's confidence in the coalition.

Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said BN members had to eliminate the four ailments mentioned by Najib if coalition were to regain the people's support and achieve greater progress.

Umno's Rais -enthused by Najib's message
"I'm proud that Najib reminded us that the ailments in the BN, especially arrogance, delusion, inertia and amnesia, be eliminated," he said when met after the opening of the convention at Wisma MCA, here.

Dr Rais, who is an Umno supreme council member, said this BN convention opened a new era for the coalition with the 1Malaysia concept mooted by Najib. He said his ministry would translate the 1Malaysia concept through programmes implemented for the people's prosperity.

He said the people should be wise in evaluating which party safeguarded their interests better, as had been proven by the BN compared to the opposition.

Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said that if the four ailments mentioned by Najib could be eliminated, BN would be capable of becoming stronger and have better prospects of serving the people.

"This is a political transformation which has to be made. BN needs a huge political transformation to ensure a better showing in the next general election," he added.

He said a convention like this was effective in bringing about a transformation to strengthen the BN. Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said Najib had instilled a lot of confidence and hope in the future of the BN.

"We have done well ... there have been a lot of issues in the past year, but his speech came out very well, telling us to reunite, that only we can deliver, that no other party can deliver like us.

"We have been defensive in the past and now we are ready to go on the offensive," he said.

Peter Chin - best ever speech!
Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui said this was the best speech by Najib to motivate BN leaders.

"I think he has put into us the atmosphere to go forward, especially those from Sarawak. We are going to face an election, so this is timely," said Chin, who is also the organising secretary of the Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP). United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO) President Tan Sri Bernard Dompok, who is also Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, said the prime minister's message was clear that all BN component parties needed to unite.

MIC Vice-President and Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said the BN should function as a united team in fulfilling the people's aspirations and to create a new spirit among its members.

MIC's Subra - new spirit
"All BN members should play their role by changing their mindset and approach and fulfill the people's hopes, and make Malaysia a developed nation," he added.

Sabah Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Musa Aman said BN component parties should be united and serious in wanting to cooperate with one another.

Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the people's thinking had changed and, as such, the BN should also change and give priority to the people. MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said political leaders must change in order to keep up with the rising expectations of voters.

He said leaders should accept the fact that political stability in Malaysia was based on the country's multi-racial society, with the people respecting and helping one another.

He said that without social and political stability, all transformation programmes would remain mere programmes.

"It is clear that the prime minister's speech can boost the party spirit and comradeship among BN component parties. This is crucial for the BN to remain strong and united," he added.

Dr Chua said that though there were people who said the BN was a mono-ethnic party, the coalition, which championed the 1Malaysia concept, was an inclusive political organisation which looked after the interests of all races in the country.

any sincerity in their faces???

Singapore Free Air TV - What does RTM and monopolist Media Prima provides to Indian community?

BOYCOTT MALAYSIAN TV STATIONS CAMPAIGN!!!

BOYCOTT ALL ADVERTISEMENTS SHOWN IN THESE STATIONS - TV1, TV2, TV3, NTV7, TV8 & TV9

WE SHOULD TEACH THESE MORONS A LESSON.

WHY SHOULD YOU VOTE FOR THE GOVERNMENT THAT PRACTICES DISCRIMINATORY POLICIES?

Every Mondays to Fridays Singapore TV station (Vasantham) provides free programmes to Indian communities from 3.00 pm to 12.00 midnight

Every Saturdays and Sundays the programmes starts at 1.00 pm to 12.00 midnight.

Look at the contribution of Malaysian government TV (RTM), TV1 & TV2 serving Indian community in Malaysia.

Malaysian Monopolist Media Prima (TV3, NTV7, TV8 & TV9) serves "0" programmes for Indian community.
How Malaysians watch their pathetic and idiotic programmes?

How shall we deal with these racists?

They are not bothered of the existence of Indian communities in Malaysia.

How does MIC deals with this problem? As usual no issue for them.

It is high time for Indians to demand for a FREE AIR TV station for their own community as they have been deprived by their own government to serve minority community.

If Singapore government is very concerned of minority community, why not Malaysian govt. Why Malaysian govt has to practice discriminatory policies?

Vasantham: Singapore Channel E24 (Tamil)

All Indians in Malaysia should unite to overcome the discrimination towards Indians in Malaysia.

mi1 is going to highlight this issue until 13th General Election and till Indians in Malaysia been awarded a new Free air TV station from Malaysian government.
