Sex video haunts MCA chief after remarks on Muslim women - Porn acyor strikes again

MCA president Chua Soi Lek has drawn fire for his remarks on Muslim women who prefer not to have skin contact with the opposite sex, and many did not fail to remember Chua's appearance in his explosive sex tape three years ago.

Both its Facebook and Twitter pages have been flooded with comments from readers, most of whom also mentioned Chua's sex tryst with a "female companion" in 2008, which briefly cost him his political career until his comeback last year.

“What sort of judgment should we make for someone who commits adultery?” asks lawyer and Twitter follower Syahredzan Johan, reminding Chua that in view of his adulterous past, he is not fit to pass any moral judgments on those who decline a handshake.

Earlier, campaigning for BN's candidate in the run-up to the Tenang by-election, Chua made fun of PAS's candidate Normala Sudirman over her preference not to shake hands with members of the opposite sex.

"She will not come here (a Chinese temple), she doesn't even shake hands with the people. I have received complaints about this. She is like Anwar Ibrahim's wife. She wears gloves when she shakes hands. If you can accept this kind of Islamic values, go ahead and vote for PAS," said the former Health minister as quoted by online portal Malaysiakini.

Some readers attribute Chua's latest remarks to UMNO's inability to educate their non-Muslim partners.

"He thought he knows everything; in actual fact very naïve about fundamentals of Islam. And he can't even hope for guidance from his friends in the component parties, they are not much different from him (on Islamic knowledge)," he posts on Facebook.

One reader holds UMNO fully responsible for MCA members’ animosity towards Islam.

“If UMNO continues to allow Chua Soi Lek to go on issuing disparaging remarks to fish for non-Muslim votes, then UMNO has sinned for allowing its partners to humiliate Islam,” writes Anuar Azahari.

Many however are of the view that Chua has forfeited his right to speak on subjects related to morality or religion, and question the silence from UMNO leaders.

"Who is this Chua Soi Lek? A BN component party leader and MCA president who also doubles as a porn actor, trying to make comments on Islamic issues. Why no action from the leaders?" asks one.

'You touch everything'

Yet others have only harsh words for the MCA comeback kid.

"To him, having illegal sexual activities is OK, but a Muslim lady (who) refused to shake hand with other man without glove is considered terrible... Can you believe that this man used to be our Health minister? Instead, he should be called Hell minister!!"

Blasts another: "At least she did not shake hand with men due to her obligation to Islam. Look at you lah, Soi Lek. You 'touch' everything on that woman in the video you know!!...and I mean everything!"

Meanwhile, PAS's Titiwangsa member of parliament Dr Lo’ Lo Ghazali questioned the silence of minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom, over Chua's latest remarks.

“Again, the MCA President has insulted Islam. This time he pokes fun at PAS candidate and PKR president Wan Azizah for not touching the hands of the opposite sex and for wearing gloves to shake hands...

"Where is Jamil Khir?” she asked.

PAS vice president and election director for Tenang, Salahuddin Ayub, said the attacks by Chua showed that BN was using the religion card by highlighting petty and personal issues against the PAS candidate.
