Just look at all the faces looking up at Uthayakumar as he beats the odds and takes the floor at the recently concluded meet of the Indian Diaspora at New Delhi, Pravasi Bharathiya Divas Conference on the 7 and 8th of January 2011.
What do you think is going on in the minds of all those people, the Indian Diaspora gathered there from around the world as they look at him. They hear what Uthaya has to say about the oppressive practices of the racist UMNO regime here in Malaysia . They probably think – really, my god, I did not know!
UMNO business loses points in all the businesses and markets they come from.
If UMNO wants this shaming to stop, it has only one option. And, that is to completely overturn its racist and segregationist policies against the Indians in the country. There is no other option for UMNO. We, from HRP will continue to remain ugly reminders till we get the change that we seek to this unjust and oppressive regime and we have just begun.
We will continue to be a factor in India Malaysia relationship whether UMNO wants it or not, likes it or not. If Malaysia wants a piece of the action of the Indian trillion dollar infrastructure investments, then it better settle the Indian problem here robustly. We will continue to highlight the injustices being meted out to the Indian here in Malaysia and there will be takers for this position in India and that is not going to help – Samy Velu or not. The more UMNO pushes the more we will push back.
Give us what is our right, guaranteed in the constitution. If you try to silence our voice, you only postpone the problem, for you are not going to get away with not dealing squarely with the Indian problem in the country, that you have created with your racist and segregationist policies.
