If UMNO is not racist, DAP would not be what it is today. If the founders of the Alliance party were still alive, such issues would not be here.
Racist policies to hide selfish interests of cronies have been the hallmark of UMNO for years. Meritocracy is alien to a racist. Why ? because a racist does not have the brain-power or the determination to work hard; and is envious of Singapore and call it a a little' red dot " . How could this red dot not only survive , in spite of all the handicaps, but also outshine a resource-rich Malaysia?
Even an Indonesian President called Singapore a little "red dot " , obviously out of envy! If you cannot compete, say so! Why call Singapore a little "red dot " ?
It is racism at work in promotions for Government posts. Universities, Senior Police Officers, school Principals, etc NEP has been based on race and racial quota. But have these race-based promotions helped the nation, which is still wallowing in the Third World while the red dot has been developed and is in the First World ?

The man who almost single-handedly brought down Malaysia to its knees, he is responsible for the dilemma facing Malays today. The Malays have become a race dependent on hand-outs and they have ceased to become competitive thanks in large to Tun Dr. M. History will view him negatively. May Allah have mercy on his soul.
Malays were humble and friendly. There was no discussion of special rights or supreme race. They were a competitive race like the Indians and Chinese and others until the man from Kerala Mahathir became the Prime Minister.
To remain in power with the help of the Muslims he opened the doors for all Muslims of the world to make Malaysia their home. Overnight the Muslim population swelled and UMNO began to grow in number and strength.
He changed the whole system by banning meritocracy in decision making and administration. He flooded the civil service with Muslims calling them 'bumiputras'; he lowered the standard of education and lowered the passing mark to a disgraceful level; all heads of departments were 'bumiputras'; corruption was encouraged to be part of the system.
The nation builders from India and China and other countries are ignored.
