Dear Sirs,

Re: Hindraf invites incoming Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang and Hadi Awang to Chetty Padang Klang to outline and announce delivery on Indian poor problems in first 100 days @ Putrajaya.

We refer to the above matter.

As your goodselves may well be aware, the UMNO/B.N. regime has been targeting and victimising in particular the vulnerable Indian poor in pursuit of their racist agenda in the last 55 long years. And to compound matters, unlike the poor Malays, Orang Asli, Iban, Kadazan etc, the Indian poor do not have their thousands of traditional villages and ancestral land as their social safety net to fall back on. Even the Chinese poor have some 607 Chinese New Villages nationwide.

The plight of the Indian poor has today become so critical that about the only way out of their daily misery is to contemplate if not to actually commit suicide. Day to day documenting and reporting on this can particularly be accessed in www.humanrightspartymalaysia.com. Attempts to divert, dilute and deny these critical Indian problems by labeling Hindraf as a racist outfit or that we cannot fight racism with racism is anything but political rhetoric. How can a cry against racism in itself become racism? Which definition of racism probably only exists in Malaysia!

We would like to cordially invite and welcome your goodselves as the incoming Prime Minister and Pakatan Rakyat top leaders to a public meeting with the Indian poor at Chetty Padang, Klang on Sunday, 22/4/2012 at 11.30 a.m. to:-

1) Outline in writing and make public Pakatan Rakyat’s delivery for the Indian poor in Pakatan Rakyat’s first 100 days in Putrajaya. And what would be done to undo the 55 years of UMNO/BN injustices inflicted on the Indian poor.

With the above, Hindraf would be better placed to announce the appropriate political directions in the imminently forthcoming 13th General Elections. For the records the Hindraf political position is not to support UMNO/B.N. We are inclined to support a regime change and also a two party system but which does not continue in particular the UMNO racism and segregation targeted against the Indian poor.

Kindly confirm your attendance and revert to us accordingly.

Thank You.

Yours faithfully,

_____________

P.Uthayakumar De facto leader, Hindraf
