ACA unable to contact Nalla

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- The Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has not been able to contact Datuk S. Nallakaruppan who alleged that Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had received RM60 million from a gaming firm.

ACA Investigation Director Datuk Shukri Abdull said he had instructed his officers to contact Nallakaruppan as soon as possible pertaining to the allegation.

"We are trying to contact him but until now we have not been able to do so, not yet," he told reporters who asked him when ACA would summon Nallakaruppan, here Wednesday.

Yesterday, ACA Deputy Director-General I Datuk Abu Kassim Mohamed said the agency would summon Nallakaruppan to get more information on the allegation.

Last Saturday, Nallakaruppan said Anwar received RM60 million from a gaming firm when he was the company's public relations director.

He also alleged that Anwar had approved many gaming licences and four-digit lottery shops when the PKR advisor was Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
