This peanuts allocation of funds is the begging mentality UMNO through their MIC, PPP and now also ably aped by the PKR, DAP and PAS Indian mandores has created to “appease” the Indian community. It may have worked for 50 long years but no more though after the 25th November 2007 Hindraf Rally.
Today the current generation of the Hindraf Makkal Sakthi demands permanent ten acre land titles and full financial aid for all the Tamil schools, Hindu cemetaries and Hindu temples nationwide.
And not Tamil newspaper announcements of land here and land there and peanuts financial allocations here and there.
And we have not forgotten the RM 100 million the UMNO One Malay-sia Prime Minister promised and made a “grand” propaganda announcements in the first and second economic stimulus package, but zero of this funds has been disbursed till today (refer The Star 30/9/2009 at page N 37.
