‘Melayus’ must not forget Indian link

The ‘Malays’ forget that Sri Ganga Negara or what is Malaya today was never theirs. Even Langkasuka of old which is today’s Kedah, Penang and Perlis plus Northern Perak was settled by an Indian Prince and his family.

The Sultanate of Perak were direct descendants of old Hindu princes.

Even the word ‘Malayar’ or ‘Malaya’ is a derivative of the Indian word ‘Mountainous’ as the ancient Hindu traders found ‘Malaya’ very mountainous.

Even Mahathir’s own father was an Indian first generation migrant! The irony of course is the real ‘Melayu’ of Malaya or the ‘Orang Asli’ are not considered ‘Bhumiputera’ or Bumiputera by the Sumatrans and Javans who settled in Malaya after the arrival of the British in the 1800s.
