This allegation was made by lawyer P. Uthayakumar at the Selayang Magistrates Court yesterday 1/3/11 referring to the photo of a plain clothes policeman strangling him. Despite inviting the UMNO Selayang Magistrate Muhamad Najib and Deputy Public Prosecutor Ridha Abdah to view the red colour mark on Selvam’s neck and to record the same, the Magistrate refused to do so.
One may feel that we are pushing our case too far but we can only say that try doing it to a policeman and you would be prosecuted for attempted murder as has been reported in the local dailies before. Scores of motorcyclist avoiding police roadblocks and accidently knocking on policemen have been prosecuted for attempted murder before. But here the racist Attorney General Gani Patail refuses to prosecute the malay muslim policemen.
