²I believe some of us have not read the 'open letter' in detail or have not been following closely to what HINDRAF truly champions for, that is 'EQUALITY FOR ALL'. I believe, and many of us also do so in their hearts, that Malaysia practices hardcore racist policies and these policies have been institutionalized. Many are afraid to admit it openly or have even benefited illegally from such racist policies. Some I'm afraid are also suffering from a condition that is termed as ' Stockholm Syndrome' where they have come to accept such institutionalized racist policies as 'acceptable'. The rest are probably well off and as such above of this racist system hence there is no bother at all or see NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. But the poor and voiceless suffer, and suffer they do every single day.
Many years ago , people were even afraid to term UMNO as a racist party. HINDRAF came along and broke all taboos and today any ordinary man on the street is not afraid to do so anymore. Even Muhydin himself admitted in the UMNO general assembly that UMNO is indeed a racist party. Such a thing would have been unthinkable before.
As much as HINDRAF identifies that UMNO is the prime party that is guilty for such racist policies that have been placed in our constitution over the years, it is also realized that no political leader from any party whatsoever today will ever dare to make drastic changes to undo years of racist policies in this country not even in the near future. It will be political suicidal to do so. They may say nice vote catching phrases but is as far as they will go. Kindly do not have any illusions or fantasy about this reality check.
So who is going to do the dirty job ? Who is going to call a spade a spade and nothing else just to be politically 'correct' ?
From cradle to grave we are asked to fill up forms stating our race. Why is this so ? The people who question this are ironically termed racists ?
This is not a 'TIME RELATED PROGRAM'. Its 2011/2012 now and this institutionalized racist policies are only getting worse !
Even Malays themselves who can't take this racist policies are migrating out of Malaysia by the thousands. They dare not voice out their disgust for fear of being termed traitors to their race and religion. The past decade, more than RM1 trillion has been siphoned out of this country. Mostly from individuals who are fleeing from a sinking ship. A ship that is sinking in part due to the institutionalized racist policies in place.
HINDRAF realized long ago that such drastic changes are never going to take place from within this country hence they have taken the 'dirty job' and be the bad guy. Waythamorthy has declassified thousands of pre independence documents in London that is going to shock the country. All lies will be exposed at the highest levels. The case is being taken to the courts in UK and perhaps even to the EU courts. Whether the legal case is won or not remains to be seen but at best you can be rest assured it will have global exposure. The can of worms will be open for all to see. It is hoped , God willing, that the case will be heard come March next year. The chief legal lawyer is in fact a Muslim who was illegally denied entry into Malaysia recently by the Malaysian government for fear that facts will be revealed and exposed. The govt were also paranoid for the Malaysian public to be aware that a Muslim was fighting for HINDRAF's cause.
We are all fighting for a bright future for all our children. Some take the short route , others the longer journey but the destination remains the same that is 'EQUALITY FOR ALL'.
