Indians becoming disillusioned with DAP

February 29, 2012

The 13th General Election is going to be a crucial and critical one for DAP. The majority of Indian voters, unhappy with the party, are contemplating withdrawing the support they had given it at 12th General Election.

And if this comes to pass and they lose the support of the Indians, it may affect the dream of DAP to rule Penang with a bigger majority in the coming 13th edition of the polls.

Perhaps, all this is due to greed and quest for power among non performing elected state assemblyman as well as DAP Indian members.

The uncouth attitude of certain assemblyman had lead to a split and loss of confidence among the Indian voters of Penang for DAP.

To my knowledge, till to date no response has been forthcoming to the Memorandum forwarded by the Penang Indian NGOs.

It only goes to prove the incompetency of the DAP. A few DAP candidates are are intent on creating trouble and discredit well performing candidates.

These recalcitrant few should be dropped or absolutely removed to save DAP in the 13th general election.

A political leader must be aware of what is happening and should be dynamic, trailblazing, influential, tolerant, possess effective leadership qualities and moral conviction.

It means believing in the right thing and making sure all policies set out by the party or state be carried out effectively.

A good leader should also pioneer ideas that would bring development and benefit the party and community, and not destroy the party with sheer intimidation.

An effective leader is someone who is not afraid of challenges and seeks opportunities when faced with obstacles and hindrances.

Prof Dr P Ramasamy, a vocal politician, possess unwavering principles and moral integrity.

He should be retained as the Deputy Chief Minister 2 of Penang in the best interest of all Indian communities nationwide and for the development of Penang.

Prof Ramasamy is one excellent political leader who is well received and respected in this country.
