PAS says that Najib will use the budget as a second round of handouts to win over voters.

TAIPING: PAS says the September budget will be another attempt by the Barisan Nasional government to buy votes with handouts.

PAS claims that BN is going for a second round to win voters over with an election goodies budget in September after failing to get the support of voters with its election goodies in the past six months.

PAS central committee member Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said the election budget will be strewn with goodies to win over voters.

“(Prime Minister) Najib Tun Razak has been throwing a lot of goodies in the past six months but the response was not favourable to him.”

“ So they will try again in the September budget with more goodies hoping that they will get some support but it is going to be worse as it will also not have any effect on the Malaysian voters ,” said Nizar who is also PAS state deputy commissioner.

Nizar is very optimistic that BN will lose this coming general election as Malaysians want change.

Nizar said that a Pakatan Rakyat government will find ways and means to reduce the prices of essential amenities and services to ease the present taxing financial hardships of Malaysians under BN rule.

He was speaking to FMT after attending the PAS Bukit Gantang parliamentary Hari Raya open house at Trong yesterday.

Nizar who is also Perak Pakatan chief said that Pakatan expects to get at least 35 state seats in the state in the coming general election.
