Protesters claim that the police were provoking the crowd.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have been accused by some Bersih 3.0 protesters of provocation, while the same is also being said of the crowd.

Earlier, when two motor propeled paragliders, believed to be policemen, flew overhead of the crowd here near Dataran Merdeka, it drew cheers.

But the cheers turned into “boos” after protesters claimed that it was a form of provocation by the authorities.

Hundreds of police, forming a line, also paraded through the crowd, asking those too near to the barricade to step back.

Earlier the crowd also chanted “jatuh, jatuh” when a police helicopter hovered over them.
