Anwar Claim There's Proof on Israeli Firm's Involvement with PDRM

Permatang Pauh MP and Opposition Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) in a press conference at parliament today asked IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan to go through the parliament’s Hansard where there is proof of APCO’s involvement.

Anwar was speaking in response to Musa’s statement asking him to provide proof of him allegations on the involvement of APCO in PDRM projects.

“I’m suggesting to him to go through the parliament’s Hansard where there is proof of APCO’s involvement in my speech in PDRM affairs. I would also like to refer to a letter from the Director of PDRM Logistic Department to the Legal Advisor of the Minstry of Home Affairs dated 7 January 2009 and a report prepared by the Director of PDRM Logistic Department to the Director General of ACA before MACC linking Asiasoft Corp with Israel and referring the Director of PDRM’s Special Branch’s statement that Asiasoft Corp is related to Israeli Intelligence,” he said.

“Tan Sri Musa Hassan can also get a police report made at the Dang Wangi Police Station, report no. 0337776/2008. The report was made by ASP Abdullah Suhaimi bin Daud on the 28th November 2008. It was stated in the report that Master Plan Consulting Sdn Bhd, hired by Asiasoft Corp which was registered in Tel Aviv, Israel. In a report from Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the Chairman, Padang Besar MP, Datuk Azmi Khalid said ‘The new procurement involving Israel. It’s very scary you know, because people will have access to all our information and Israel is working together with the US. They are implementing a security system that would enable them to know about everyone around the world’. I am quoting the Chairman of PAC,” he added.

He continues by hoping that Tan Sri Musa Hassan would continue with his investigation since all the evidence has been included in the report made by the Chief of Special Branch PDRM.

“I’m taking the initiative to provide all the information available. It is really up to them. If they feel that I need to assist then I will do my duty as a loyal Malaysian citizen. I don’t see in any way that UMNO can get out of this mess. I’ve written a letter to the King today to support the initiative of my colleagues, the PAS MPs to secure the good offices of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong to advise the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to immediately cancel this contract involving APCO and all related Israeli Intelligence interest,” he said.
