Pakatan Rakyat will soon be ditched by non-Malays and Malays alike if they don't buck up and do something to prop-up economy in PR controlled states. At the same time don't just sit in the office and give empty press confrences. Go to the ground and see what the people needs and arrange programmes to deliver the needful. Make your grassroot touch by giving your runner boys and girls to meet people.
PR and PAS in particular need to come to realisation that support can switch if you do not get your act together. Hasan may do everything he can to bring PR selangor down indirectly but it will not happen this term. Next GE, he may find himself and at least couple of his PAS ADUNs, out of a seat. Hasan may survive but by then UMNO will not even look at him if they are able to take over the govt. Hadi Awang needs to come clean together with his deputy on how PAS is going to work as Nik Aziz is clear but these 2 with Hasan are playing another game which UMNO will play them out.
PAS should give up seats south of Selangor minus a couple cos there is very little support for them more so when they lose the non muslims support due to wayang kulit by Hasan and his backers. PAS remember 1999 vs 2004. BN needs to remember 1999 vs 2008. Support can change and being popular with the most than one particular race will be more beneficial. Bell curve theory works for politics.
PKR needs to clean house as there are a few turncoats within them. Better to have quality vs quantity.DAP time to clear any infighting and make sure penang works cos penang is an example for PR.Selangor shoule be the example but alas Hasan is screwing things up. Khalid and Hadi should fire Hasan like right now. Let him walk and any part of PAS that wants to walk with Hasan.
A number of voters voted for Isa because they are tired of the racial bigotry of one Pas Councilor in Selangor and Lim Guan Eng cheated Indians in Kg. Buah Pala. Lim Guan Eng should be cautious as Indians in Penang are very angry with DAP and how they made a mockery in Kg. Buah Pala. It will be diffuclt to earn trust if DAP lose their trust especially with Indians.
Indians made an U turn of 360 degrees during 12th GE but they can do the same in 13GE when they kick out Pakatan in every state. Dont take Indians for a ride or take the Rakyat for granted.
PR will not be seen as be trully multicultural if their executive councillor is allowed to promote divisive racial policy and advocate UMNO like policies like conducting inquiries behind closed doors. If voters accept such policies, it is better to vote for BN to continue the 52 years of mismanagement than to vote t=for the unproven and disunited PR,
No more wake call for PR. No confidence either on PR rule. Enough is enough. All that we see is communal politic.
The good showing is not about the public accepting Tan Sri Isa per se but rather to teach PAS a lesson not to be two timing....religious racist to the core. I am putting my votes back to BN this coming 13th GE if DS Najib continues to play fair & smart... and PAS continues to think they can be racist and religious bigots.
I cannot imagine when Tok Guru leaves the political scene. UMNO please not take in PAS as their venoms could poison your party and also BN.
If today is an election day, I will advise my community to vote for Barisan Nasional. The simple reason is Pakatan Rakyat is too good in talking bad of others and back snapping their own people. From Datuk Azilan, Lim Guan Eng, Dr Hasan Ali, what can you deliver for your supporters since 8th of March..........
The loss is also because of the Hassan Ali factor. Non-muslims had welcomed PAS, prior to the extremist-islamist deliberate outbursts. PR will implode with the likes of Hassan Ali in its ranks. He negates all the achievements of the rest of the team.
Pas lost was very obvious not that they need to serve the people but the represent the people as one country .at this rate with their big hassan ali and pas youth, our 24 votes went straight to bn.....
They may have won the battle but not the war,” but if the 3 parties if PR continue to muck around childishly then they will lose the war.
What the estate Indians in Bagan Pinang needed to vote for d BN was some money for temple and Tamil school renovation , and a tody shop to get drunk after work and a few hundreds for Deepavalli expenditure...Thats exactly what they must got out of Najib/Isa....
This cheap Indians in Bagan Pinang are a disgrace to the Indian race on the whole. They dont see the bigger picture and they will never see the bigger picture untill and unless they leave the estates for the cities. This mindset of living with pittance has been etched by the British upon them.
A temple ( Amman ) a primary Tamil school ( not English, mind u, for the Tamils would 'develop' ) and last but not least a tody shop was good enough for the Tamils to stay in the estates for ages and now this BN govt is perpetuating this hypocrisy to the hilt...
In the beginning I was of the impression a morally tainted candidate was contesting the election but now I feel the candidate is less morally tainted then the voters. The voters especially the Indians in Bagan Pinang deserve what they are getting from BN. God save these voters.
