RPK should stop lying

From Tulang Besi

I would like to express my utmost regret on Raja Petra Kamarudin’s latest attack on the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat government.

He accuses Selangor Pakatan Rakyat government as being accomplices in protecting acts of corruption.

He named two of PKR’s state assemblymen as to accepting bribes from a contractor. The act of corruption is said to have involved contracts awarded by KSSB, the company entrusted by Selangor state government to oversee the entire sand mining operation in Selangor.

What Raja Petra has failed to mention is the fact that this is an old case. Not only that, the case has been investigated by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).

As such, until today, the MACC has not chosen to indict any of the two state assemblymen on charges of corruption.

In addition, the operations of KSSB has been completely transparent to two anti corruption bodies: the MACC and Transparency International (TI).

In fact, MACC has two representatives appointed to the KSSB Board of Directors.

By repeating this age old accusation, Raja Petra has proved himself to becoming nothing more than a political prostitute.

We all are well aware of his about-turn from his accusation of Najib Tun Razak’s involvement in the murder of Altantunya.

We all saw how his interview was used to the aid of Umno and Barisan Nasional in the run-up to Sarawak state election.

And we all saw how he was willing to repeat Umno’s lies against Anwar Ibrahim in the Saiful-Sodomy case just a few days before the day of the court verdict.

Again, it proves to me that he is nothing more than a political prostitute trying his best to get into the good books of a certain top leader of the country.

It was told to me that his usual sponsor has ran into some financial trouble. So, it could bee that attacking Anwar, Pakatan Rakyat and PKR may be his meal ticket at this moment.

Anyone who studies my blog’s archives will see that I have attacked Raja Petra many times. My main contention against the man is the fact that he is trying to intoduce corruption into the teachings of Islam.

To me, anyone trying to corrupt their own religion is more evil and insidious than any politician whom had committed corruption of power or money. Raja Petra may claim to have champion the cause against corruption of money and power, but he himself is an agent of corruption against the teachings of Islam.

In conclusion, Raja Petra should just come clean and admit that he is now is on a different payroll. He is not fighting in the same team as Pakatan Rakyat. He should stop lying to the people and come clean on his new allegience.

For all his fight against corruption, it turns out he’s the biggest corruptor of all. His days as a credible writer and blogger is long over.
