Apartheid in Malaysia

This is Malaysia and not a Malay kingdom – it is a Federation

This is Malaysia. Is there a law that says that only Malay can be Prime Minister. Any Malaysian can be Prime Minister. This is a real problem with agreeing to 1 Malaysia. It seems to be a Malaysian is “conditional”. Some Malaysian can be Prime Minister while other Malaysian cannot.

Malaysia cannot grow as a strong nation with divided “racial” policy. Why did we NOT support apartheid government of South Africa. It is because of racial discrimination policy of the white who held that they are supreme to other races.

Look at the thinking of Malay in Malaysia – is this not the same. Should we non- Malay kept quiet about this racial supremacy practices of the Government.

Many will say it is NOT

Many BN component party members think it is not so because they are participating in ruling Malaysia. That is not enough because they also know that they cannot be the Prime Minister of Malaysia. The prime Minister is elected by UMNO and that is Racial Supremacy practices.

We must all be equal. If certain special privilege is given to certain group to help them to get up to speed in their progress those policy must be transparent and with clear exit condition. Today, the Barisan Nasional supporters have this mentality – the subsidy mentality and the monopoly subsidy. Many do not seem to be able to put food on their table without the Government giving them contracts. This is done at the expense of many poor people – how then can we solve poverty problem in the country.

System that enhance apartheid

Malaysia has a system that can deliver apartheid practices. It is beginning to show its ugly head in Malaysia. We wish to think that the younger generation of Malaysian would be more open and liberal in our thinking. That do not seem to be in Malaysia today. We have a more racialist approach to wealth and power. We also discriminate our own Malaysian people because of belief system and even color.

This country at this rate is not only going to go bankrupt but also disintegrated.

It get to be more painful to be Malaysian

As a Dayak, I cannot understand why the government is taking our land and give it to the rich. The poor Dayak caight with development that is design to by-pass them. Many do not understand that this happen because of leadership corruption in Sarawak and Malaysia as a whole.

To be Minister or to be close to power mean to be given a golden opportunity to be rich. That is the truth. If that is the truth where does this riches come from – it comes from abuse of power. what is abuse of power – it is corruption of the highest order.

Conclusion

If we continue this road whereby only a certain race can be Prime Minister, a Menteri Besar or Chief Minister, a Governor, Chief of the Armed Forces, Chief Justice, Inspector General of Police, Secretary to the Government etc – are we not practicing racial supremacy also known as apartheid?

You tell me if it is not.
