Racial sentiment is being deliberately played up to create tension in case BN need to use it as an excuse to carry out a crackdown prior to the next GE (general election). So always address these issues calmly and don't fall into their trap.
We are all losers. This is another sad day for justice, peace and democracy in Malaysia. When will Malaysians grow up and one day say that we are "anak bangsa Malaysia" without referring ourselves to any particular race?
The top Umno people love to have this type of racial tension going all the time as they can use it as an excuse to introduce all sort of draconian measures to continue to rule the country, if they suspect that they are likely to lose the next elections.
The smart thing for all Malaysians to do now is to just lie low and vote BN out at the next elections.
While PM Najib Razak is holding court in United States talking about 'Islamophobia and the middle ground, etc' to the world at large, his own backyard is a circus of goons, proclaiming 'panglima perang', 'hulubalang Melayu' ready to go to war!
Ketua Polis Negara (police chief), why is a Perkasa mob burning pictures of a specific person free to continue without hindrance, while peaceful candlelight vigils against the ISA illegal and suppressed by force using the FRU?
Perkasa is now fearless and can choose to take the law into its own hands. What is the government doing? Where is the law enforcement? Perkasa is loud, daring, provocative and getting more charged up by the day.
It is indeed a sad day for Malaysia as the government is not doing anything to manage the situation. We need real change soon.
