Malaysians should boycott National Service.

The Govt must be held responsible for all deaths. Every death that happens within the NS program must be fully accounted for. This is human lives we are talking about. We must have an independent commission to determine the causes of death. If the caused is negligence Lee Lam Tnye, Najib and the gangs must be held responsible and charge them for manslaughter.

How can anyone treat death as such trivial matters.
We all know that making money out of NS is one thing but if death occurs your profits are tainted with blood…….I propose that we set up a Commision to determine all deaths, injuries etc… to ensure that human life are not sacrifice in return for profit.

If it was the Singapore government, action would have been taken ages ago to either suspend, re-look or re-structure the national service. But sadly, this is Malaysia we are talking about. And with UMNO-BN government, it is not surprising to see no action taken after 15 deaths. No one in the UMNO-BN government will dare or have the balls to stand up and call for the national service to be suspended.

Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye??? I dont know, whats the point of having some fancy Tan Sri title when young kids are dying at your watch??

And as for the director general chap who said the NS wont be suspended because of one of two deaths, this is another UMNO-BN eunuch.

Malaysia deserve so much better than having these balless, gutless, spineless and clueless lackeys and eunuchs running our government.

Since the beginning of 2007, many people have been expressing their concerns about the high fatalities related to participation in the NS programme. Many have called for it to be suspended or review.

However, those who are responsible for the implementation of this programme would not listen. Now they must be be held morally and even legally accountable for their negligence for the recent deaths.

In order to help those who want to review the press reports and letters which have been written about this ill-conceived NS programme.

It’s been 16 deaths since the NS started. How many more does the Govt. want to have as statistics before calling the ‘redundant & irrelevant” program off??

How many more young, able & promising youth do we have to lose before the powers taht be act?? The lessons that they profess to ‘teach’ in the NS programs should start from school - primary school onwards. You want to inculcate discipline & unity, but these children see teachers who are otherwise & text-books and policies that disunite us. And you want to change in in 90-odd days when for 13 years, these youngsters are indoctrinated through our education system with the distorted values.

Every parent I know is full of fear when their child reaches the NS-age due to this. When the government can fully guarantee that nothing bad will happen to my child or that of En. Wahid, Mrs. Chin & Mr. Muthusamy and all the other parents out there - then the NS can go on.

We all know - we hear it in the kopi tiam & mamak stalls, who’s making what from these NS programs. As long as its profitable business to those in charge, who cares if young Ahmad bin Wahid, young Alison Chin or Veloo Muthusamy returns safe and sound to their parents.

I don’t think that’s a price worth paying for a program that is supposed to foster national unity. Not especially when the effort is likely wasted once the kids grows up and faces the reality of this country.

Maybe my outlook is cynical, but this country just doesn’t have a climate which fosters national unity for which we have UMNO to thank for that.

Absolute waste of tax money and lives of our future generation! I doubt would those UMNOputras send their kids to NS if shorlisted?! Does anyone have the statistics?

To Lee Lam Thye, be a man and say to the world that the NS is a failure. If you don’t have the guts at least quit. To the Badawi regime, especially Najib, God will judge you for all the deaths!
