Kota Kinabalu: Sepanggar MP Datuk Eric Majimbun attributed Tuesday's long queue at petrol stations throughout the State to yet another glaring example of Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's "incompetence as Prime Minister".
In a statement, Majimbun said this was also the reason his Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) had last Wednesday announced its intention to move a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.
He claimed the Government's decision to proceed with the drastic hike in fuel prices recently had tremendously burdened the people and this was followed by a series of questionable reactions by the Government, including the refusal to give in to the demand of the petrol stations operators for an increase in their commission which caused Tuesday's panic buying.
