Kuala Lumpur, June 2 : Problems afflicting Malaysian Indians should be considered a national issue and not left to the community to solve, said acting Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.
The Makkal Osai newspaper quoted him as saying that priority should be given to finding a solution to the problems.
He said Gerakan had identified the problems 10 years ago, but has failed to find the necessary solutions.
He said Gerakan would work with other Barisan Nasional component parties to continue tackling the problems.
