Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has been reported saying Bersih
organisers should be held responsible for the injuries and damage to
property that took place yesterday.
Muhyiddin, according to The Star, faulted the coalition for clean and fair elections for rejecting the “offer” to hold their rally at a stadium instead of Dataran Merdeka.

protestors saying it was “unusual” and suspected “provocation”.
