INDIANS PLAN TO BOYCOTT MALAYSIA

It is sad to say but India and we Indians do not recognize our strength.

No wonder, the whole world treats us like a door-mat and walks all over us.

This is despite the fact that we Indians are smart, educated and constitutes a very large market that the whole wide world is looking for. The whole world loves us as a market but hates our guts as Indians. They want to dump their goods on us but do not want us. They treat us like ‘Ugly Indians’ – a title some of us truly deserve. But then, there are uglier Americans, Britishers and Australians too.

So, you see an ICC which runs on the money that we Indians in particular – and Asians in general – generates but they still treat us with contempt that we do not deserve. The recent example of treating Bhajji and Indian cricketers is for all to see.

And, what happens when we as a united nation protest?

They remove Bucknor but make us wait for decision on Bhajji.

Actually, they hate our guts as a nation but only when we are united. And, by standing united, we become beacons for smaller countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangla Desh, who are trampled over everyday.

Another example: we Indians are one of the largest spenders of foreign exchange as tourists and as a group; we might be next to Chinese only in number and spending power. But, they still hate us and call us ugly Indians.

And, soon after this Bhajji episode, I came across a news item that says that Malaysia is banning intake of Indians. Malaysia has suspended the recruitment of workers from India and Bangladesh, a move that could be linked to a recent uproar about Malaysia's treatment of ethnic Indians. The ban, which took effect from Dec 31, 2007, could further strain relations between the two countries after some Indian politicians sympathized with ethnic Indians who said they have been marginalized by the Malay-majority government.

So, what should we do?

My prescription: BAN MALAYSIA.

We Indians constitute the largest number of tourists to Malaysia. We enjoy the cheap air-fares offered by Malaysian Airlines and visit Malaysia to do shopping. In turn, we help Malaysian economy by our tourism.

Let’s stop doing it on our individual level.

Let us Indians NOT go to Malaysia and even stop importing Palm Oil from Malaysia. If this sissy govt doesn’t, let us stop using Palm oil in our kitchens.

You’ll see the fur and sparks flying.

But, sadly, we’re NOT united and like a sleeping giant, we do not recognize our own strength. But if we do, you’ll see countries like Malaysia crawling in front of us.

On my level, I pledge NOT to travel to Malaysia and if you have some self-respect, do NOT travel to Malaysia and request your friends and family to do so.

I assure you that you’ll see the economy of Malaysia coming to a grinding halt.

Let’s learn to earn respect – something that’s not served on a platter
