Component Parties OUT from Barisan Nasional!!!

Should Component parties (i.e MCA, MIC, PPP, Gerakan PPP & Others in Sabah & Sarawak) leave Barisan Nasional now or later, despite the on-going arrogance of UMNO? Or, without exit from BN, can component parties able to reinvent themselves?

Some said Component Parties used to proud of, as being “the conscious of Barisan Nasional“. Therefore leaving BN is a must, as to restore the glory of Component Parties, as some claimed.

I believe, “Withdrawal from Barisan Nasional” is one of the options, and always one of the option, on the table of top management of the component parties.

As one claimed, “Withdrawal need to plan.” component paties need to know where should they go after quitting from BN, only then the option of quitting is feasible. Simply quitting from BN is not the right way as to re-invent component parties.

Further, whether component parties ares quitting from BN or not, they need to be vocal. If they are not vocal enough on defending the rights of the people and addressing the concern of the people, then the voters will reject them and BN together.

If they decided to become relevant, then they need to more vocal. If not, they will be marginalized by the people.

Component parties are unfortunate that they were caught in the UMNOism. now here is where the problem lies: Component parties should leave UMNO, it isn’t a question of leaving BN! you see, today BN is synonymous with UMNO, every component party will tell you that.

I believe the component parties would be ready to leave UMNO. PKR is in actual fact an offshoot of UMNO, the disgruntled ex-members of UMNO have more or less found an alternative party, hopefully when PKR “grows up” it will not become a party for all Malaysians and not certain cronies.
