Anwar challenges authorities to take him to court
BUTTERWORTH: PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has challenged the authorities to take him to court if there is solid evidence against him on the latest sodomy allegations.
He said the Government should first ensure a fair trial and select only judges who were credible and not those who could only say "correct, correct, correct."
Anwar reiterated that the latest sodomy allegations against him were a conspiracy by his enemies to kill him politically and to shut him up.
He also questioned the credibility of Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail over the sodomy case as he had lodged a police report against them.
Anwar also denied any link with the United States. He was speaking to a large crowd during a ceramah at the Seberang Jaya expo site here Saturday night.
