A young woman, a foreigner to our land, was brutally murdered by our own countrymen/women.
How can the leader of our land laugh and make a 'tongue in cheek comment' while talking about it?
Where is the outrage, the sadness, the shame or the empathy for the deceased and her bereaved family?
Where is the desire for the truth to be revealed, the culprits to be punished, for justice to be done?
He may not be involved in the horrible crime, but as the leader of our country, he must stand and speak for truth and justice.
He cannot just laugh and be happy that there is no evidence against him, that ‘they've not offered any evidence at all ...'
Such a behaviour and response from our PM leaves me cold and comfortless - and very sad.
