This is the silliest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. It happens only in Malaysia, a country that boasts about democracy in a multicultural society and "Malaysia is Truely Asia" nation?
I don't see why BERSIH that wants free and clean election not to be given the freedom for a peaceful rally by the ruling parties? The Police have been used by the Government to abuse the Rakyat which is very shameful to the Prime Minister and his cabinet.
Even before BERSIH even started they have instilled the fear among the citizens and the public. The Police have instead disrupted businesses, tourism and everything in KL. When I was in Bangkok during Yellow Shirts Rally, the Police were helpful instead.
Life went on as usual in Bangkok until the Red Shirts took their turn and started to burn the city. I don't think the BERSIH guys intend to do that. BUT I believe the PERKASA and the UMNO Youth are capable to do those nonsense as they did in Penang recently.
My question is, Why didn't the Police do anything? I agree that there is a double-standard treatment. I am staying on to observe this circus of Malaysian politics. Shame on you, coward Najib
