Perak Sultan should clarify to the rakyat the rationale of his decision~malaysiakini

The Sultan of Perak has compromised his principles between the rulers and subjects as well as between Malays and non-Malays.

He should clarify the accusations about his rights and the constitution being challenged by rakyat
Instead, Perak Sultan should ask himselves if he had acted accordingly against the recent flap over the issues pertaining the rights of ruler and constitution.

Perak sultan must ask himself why," he made the decision which is against the rakyat.
The source of it is that he is wrong for not following procedures.

Perak rakyat wants to know where the mistake is. UMNO simply cannot make accusations. When we do something without following procedure everyone will be in a muddle."

The issue come amid a heated debate sparked by a raft of recent public comments about rulers supremacy and the constitution.

He should be drawn in to the debate, pointing out the rationale of his decision.

The rakyat will come to a conclusion that it may all just be politics, The proverb ada udang disebalik batu (having a hidden agenda).

Initiative should be taken in the Conference of Rulers to iron out issues pertaining appointing Chief Mnister which also subject to any debates by the rakyat.

"What is the the Sultan's power? It should compromise, between the people and the royalty, the Malays with the Chinese and the Indians." Sultan's immunity should not be considered.

It was former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who led the charge against constitutional monarchy in the late 1980s and 1990s. Around 1992, the media exposed the excesses of the royalty and their extravagant lifestyle.
Now we need to reduce thier power against any issues pertaining the rakyat. The personal immunity of Rulers should be removed for the legal process relating to the performance of their duties.
