MIC should move from Tamil schools and temples issues to the next level

I refer to your report, ‘Ageing Umno compromised its beliefs’ where the writer says MIC knows it is becoming alarmingly irrelevant to the progress of Malaysian Indians.

I’d like to add that MIC became irrevelant long ago. It’s only its leaders trying to make themselves relevant. After 54 years of Merdeka, the Indians are no better off today.

So by exiting Samy Vellu, the Indians thinks that MIC will return to normalcy but it is going down day after day. With 8% of population, you haven’t moved from the spot you are in.

If you want the Indians to move to the next level, bring out all those in the rural areas and open up their minds, which MIC leaders won’t do it as they will lose votes – selfish right?

They will fight for the Tamil schools and temples only, as from day one MIC believes that this is where the voters sit. After 54 years, never ending with Tamil schools and temples issues.
