Why Indians in Malaysia are being humiliated??

Humiliation is not a new word for us, for Indian community in Malaysia. It has been a regular word for us in life. We have been treated unfairly in many occasion and still there are many issues surrounding us, and I'm still listening to it ever since i born.

Malay community has government and its special privileges which is not questionable in all sectors and parts in this country. Be it from upper political management, business opportunities, bumiputra status for their companies where they can do business anywhere in this country, special business and housing loans for them under Islamic shares, special price everywhere for them be it from food to properties.

Chinese are united together in the case of their community needs even though they have different political ideology. That makes them stronger and they have never been tested or humiliated in any case if compared to our community. they are stronger in political and money wise and still ruling many of the important cities in Malaysia. In fact, they are holding most of the nation's shares which is crucial. They are still a better united community compared to others. For example, in case of Chinese school issues, all the politicians be it from BN or DAP, they come together to solve the issues. Chinese schools are still having the better facilities compared to others. this shows how united they are.

When it comes to our community, we are the weakest than others in every aspects. Some of the facts which i think has become our main drawbacks are:

1) Our community population is far behind compared to other communities. The number keeps decreasing because younger generation preferred to get marry at a late age, at about 30+ for various reasons. consequently, they end up having 1 or 2 kids and shockingly, according to reports, some of them are not willing to have babies at all. this will indirectly contribute to the population of our community. Some of them are not willing to have baby as they foresee that there is no future for Indians in Malaysia and therefore they would not want their children to suffer as what they are suffering now.

2) Political ideology is a great disadvantage among our community. We are already separated for many reasons. As i said, culture, religion and beliefs are the reasons for our weaknesses. Politically we are not united. All i can see for years, we only depend BN and its representatives for everything. Be it from business, education, living, community issues and so on. And what we get? ALMOST NOTHING.

Here are some example: We still heard that our indian students studying in a contena because lack of classrooms. then, not enough opportunities in business, be it from goverment business opportunities to private sector, lack of places in to pursue higher education even tough excellent results. Remember indian parents spending a lot for their children studies whereby they send their children to study medic in oversea. no sponsors, no helping hands. then, we have been humiliated once before on temple issues. there are almost 89 temples nearly face the end.

All this happen when we believe our political representatives who we thought eventually will help. but none happens. after so much of interruptions and irritations we gone through, suddenly our community woke up to show our dissatisfaction through a demonstration. Consequently, we won!! we let opposition won many seats, we let opposition took over few states, we change many politicians fate, we save all our temples, we was being respected as a strong community. Indian schools get many types of fund, temples are registered now, and many more good things happening in the states where opposition won!

3) betrayals "nande kathai(CRABS)" - As usual, crabs and indians are best friends. So, there are many crabs living within the community. New Indian Leaders from Pakatan who won from last general election are doing a lot for the Indian community. they know exactly our problems and trying hard to solve it, Be it from general Indian issues to the religious issues. Only because they are not superior than the central government only a limited changes they can made.

But sadly, they have been criticized by those(Indian CRABS) who are "unable" to do nothing to our community for past years. this crab story is also living within opposition. Some of the Indian crabs within opposition party(pakatan) also, who are money greedy, forgot bout their responsibility to the community and willing to step out of party for their own wishes. they have betrays the voters especially Indians who thought they might make a difference.

Really disappointing with these so called leaders. Even it happens among "makkal sakti" leaders..first it was a pure resolution to overcome issues among Indians, later it turnout to be a war for top supremacy. and there is a Crab (Thanendran) who claims he is a legal supreme leader. In fact, this crab did not even went for any demonstration or a jail or arrested under ISA or sacrifice anything during the bad period went by other leaders. But this crab suddenly came out and says he is legal leader. Sadly, there are Indians who follows this crab wherever he has a meeting. Pity other leaders could not do anything coz they were at the jail. This is the real situation.

4) Many Indians are not registered voters - this is an ultimate mistake done by Indians. whenever they reach certain age, parents should strictly encourage them to register as a voter! i still met many Indians who are 30s and 40s but still not registered to be voters. Bare in mind, if you not a voter, ur already a loser. No one includes leaders and government itself, will never ever respect u as a citizen. this is the real situation. whenever Indians request for anything, government will check the voters list first. if ur a voter, they has to respect ur request coz u have the power to turn down them. use ur power and vote in every election. spread this message among Indians.

last election, we prove our self to government, that we are a strong community. but recently i see we are losing our strength and lost in the standings. suddenly, many of us forgetting our mission and starts to go towards the wrong path. luckily, this Interlok case made us open our eyes once again and realized who are the real government are?. this is a issue where tests our strength. please dun carried away. stay strong.

Moreover, BN trying to win our community votes by keeping promises, such as 1 Malaysia concept. but bare in mind, there is nothing for Indians under 1 malaysia concept.

Is there really a 1 Malaysia? Brickfield and tengku kelana klang declared as "little India" is said to be part of 1 Malaysia. my question is Brickfields and tengku kelana a new place for us? we have been living there for many decades. that is already our place and declared. but the government acted like they give that place to us. crazy!! and even in front of Indian prime minister because just to rebuild the image which went down during the demonstration.

So bottom line is, wake up dear Indians, please try to analyze what is happening around. Dont get carried away by the newspaper reports, news from tv and empty promises did by leaders.

if u start to value your community, stay strong beyond culture, religion and belief, in coming years we will be a strong community.
