Watching pornography movie is legal in Malaysia?

The sex video debacle may prove to be the last straw to break the back of public confidence in the credibility and legitimacy of the Najib premiership.

PETALING JAYA: The police have been urged to arrest the Datuk T trio for their role in publicly exhibiting a sex tape on Monday.

DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang said the police should not further delay in arresting former Malacca chief minister and Umno veteran Rahim Thamby Chik, Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Perkasa’s Shuib Lazim.

The trip today admitted they are Datuk T, the mystery man who was behind the broadcast of the sex tape allegedly showcasing Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim having sex with a foreign-looking woman.

Anwar had immediately denied that he was the man in the video and had lodged a police report yesterday.

“Why have the police not arrested the trio of Datuk T for various crimes, including publicly exhibiting obscene or pornographic material?

“Do they enjoy immunity and impunity for breaches of the law and actions which have brought world-wide shame to the nation?” Lim asked in a statement today.

He also asked if top Umno leaders and members had prior knowledge of the work of the trio in broadcasting the sex tape.

He said that the act was a “dastardly political ploy to destroy both Anwar and Pakatan Rakyat’s chances in the Sarawak general election”.

He added that may, however, prove to be the last straw to break the back of public confidence in the credibility and legitimacy of the Najib premiership.

The act could also convince the majority of the people that the time has come to end the mandate of Barisan Nasional and Umno to continue to govern Sarawak and Malaysia, he added. - FM
