A Retort to John Malott: Malaysia is not a hotbed of racism and bigotry

Written by Iskandar Dzulkarnain, Malaysia Chronicle

John Malott has still not learnt his lesson.

The former Ambassador to Malaysia is at it again. Rousing all kinds of tension with his uncalled for remarks about the state of affairs in our country. And like Mahathir Mohamad, we still allow him to continue embarrassing Malaysia in the eyes of the world.

If anyone cares to go through his articles, one can see the blatant crap he’s conjuring to destabilize the this lovely nation of ours, where the races co-habit under the fatherly, guiding hand of Prime Minister Najib Razak. Hidup Najib! Hidup Rosmah!

When John was Ambassador, he was alleged to have recruited all our highly intelligent students to study in the USA. Many never came back, and went on to work in the US and Singapore as spies for the CIA, CSI, NSA, NATO, NASA and NFA. So many of our fine young talents have left Malaysia for good, and making top money in other countries. No thanks to America. And Singapore.

Although he is already persona non grata in Malaysia, steps must be taken to ban him from setting foot in ASEAN – the Association of South East Asian Nations as well. That will really teach him a lesson not to write any more lies about our country. Lies, lies and lies. Nothing but Lies! Just like this other repulsive, overweight toad-like creature that hollers, Najis, Najis,Najis. Semuanya Najis. If readers don't know who we are referring to, it's Ibrahim Ali and his Shit, Shit, Shit on Aljazeera TV.

Back to Malott. If anyone cares to read his past articles, one can see all the unkind remarks he says about our BN Government. Is this Fair? Can he be Right? For instance, in his latest article he wrote that “the highest levels of the government were tolerating or even provoking racial and religious tensions in order to shore up their political base among the Malay community.”

That is an Absolute Lie, a sheer Fabrication. These issues are brought up only when there are General Elections around the corner. After that, they will disappear especially if BN regains its two thirds majority. That's what BN promises anyway. But will the things that are wrong and made even 'wronger' because of the GE be put Right afterwards?

If not, it will become 'worser' because BN is a sore loser. But on the bright side, Malaysians have developed such immunity to such trifle issues that the wrangling provides some cheap entertainment in this boring country at the very least.

Malott goes on to quote: “Najib says that Islam is superior to all other religions.”

Najib only says that because he thinks he will be skinned alive by the majority if he doesn’t. And also, because his wife, Rosmah, has the sharpest knife amongst us all.

“Mahathir says that Malaysia is Tanah Melayu.”

Whether it is Tanah Cina or India, Whatever Mahathir says, people will just ignore him. Yet, if he is really Senile, how come he is still so powerful in UMNO? Could this be why UMNO has been afflicted by mental disease as well?

“Talk of Ketuanan Melayu - the Malays as the Master Race, rather than as a people with a special position,” ….Ahhh…that happens to be the Chosen One, the All Wise Being, the Savior of the Malays….. He’s the only one that that doesn’t need a megaphone to holler his message across. All Hail the Chosen One - Ibrahim Ali!

“The Home Ministry desecrates the Holy Bible with government stamps and serial numbers.”

Americans must know that Malaysia is a trigger-happy stamping country, and we will stamp anything for the fun of it. You have your square dancing or line-dance and France has its grapes. Well, we have our Passports and government letters and of course, the Bibles. After all, the Americans started it by inventing all the sophisticated bar codes and electronic tracking, so here in Malaysia we are following the spirit albeit with outdated serial numbers.

Malott goes on to say that “Utusan undercuts the Prime Minister's 1Malaysia policy and calls for 1Melayu, Muhyiddin says that Utusan is the voice of the Malays. Utusan then goes on to say that the Chinese are trying to take over Malaysia, and that the Christians are conspiring to abolish Islam as the national religion, and so on. All complete fabrications.”

Utusan is helmed by a group of over-enthusiastic Journalists that believes in total freedom of speech, even though we know there is no such thing in this country, and they are always on the search for the sensational scoop of the century. Their readership is limited as most Non-Malays ignore what ever truth Utusan tries to report. Whenever they write the truth, the people will think it’s a lie. So in order for people to believe them, they have to spin more untruths. They are a harmless organization as even the government doesn’t believe in their news reports.

“But Utusan - owned and controlled by UMNO - gets away with it. This is the clearest example of what I meant when I said that the Government - at the highest levels - is tolerating this in order to strengthen its base among the Malays in preparation for the next General Election.” reiterated Malott.

Malays are at a loss who to side this time. Unlike before, these days they have a choice . They can sympathize with BN or vote for change. PAS and Pakatan Rakyat happen to be a very bright light at the end of a dark tunnel. Let’s see whether the Winds of Change have really landed.

One must remember that, the Opposition also uses the Alternative Media in their campaign, and pro-Opposition websites numbers pro-BN websites two to one. So the BN government needs the MSM to counter all the truth spun by the Opposition. Ooops!!

Malaysians are also getting smarter. Whatever the government spins, the people will ignore and treat it as Propaganda. And even if the government speaks the truth, the people will still not believe it anymore. It’s such a sad state of affairs, but the Government can only blame themselves for disappointing and mistreating the people.

And even whatever truth John Malott tries to write, the Government will tell the people that it is all lies, lies and lies. The people should not believe it, especially from a former US Ambassador to Malaysia.

So really, I would recommend everyone to go through some of John Malott’s articles in the past, and ponder carefully at the atrocious allegations levelled against BN, and the BN's even more fantastic accusations against him. Judge for yourselves. Don’t have to believe me, you know!

As for John Malott, do go on writing. BN will never forgive you, BN does not need an extra enemy in their midst, especially now.

But Malaysians need a Friend and they will know whom to appreciate. - Malaysia Chronicle
