With six more days to go for the Sarawak state elections, the already confirmed cash-strapped finance ministry is heading for bankruptcy after its finance minister who is also the nation's prime minister Najib Razak decided to stay on in Sarawak until 16 April 2011.

It is widely believed that Najib is expected to announce a very large amount of financial incentives to Sarawak on the eve of the state elections in order to ensure BN garners enough votes on the next day.

Yes, with Najib's usual statement "if you help me, I will help you", is widely expected by everyone in Sarawak as the BN is desperately doing all of its kinds of tricks and cheats to please the mostly disappointing people there. Cash were given out to those attending their "ceramah", free food, t-shirts and whatever they have are given out to assure the people that they are "financially" best but certainly to us, not the people's best.

The Sarawak BN state government is also already cash-strapped, although most of its leaders are wealthy and bloody rich as the result of the rampaging in the state's natural resources.

The state chief minister and PBB president Taib Mahmud had nothing else to say anymore and he has avoid meeting the younger generations during his campaign rounds choosing instead to be accompanied only with his members of the ruling elites.

And because of that, Najib has to come to the rescue forcing himself to temporary abandon his official federal duties in order to focus on the Sarawak BN campaign machinery. Besides camping in Sarawak till this 16 April, Najib is also bringing along his pile of cash for a last minute throw in order to charm the people into retuning BN to power.

What next after the state election? He will soon find his treasury in Putrajaya emptied and dried up because of that. Then what? Increase prices again, increase the tax and one thing certain he will do, asking the EPF and Petronas to loan him with billions to refill his treasury.

And if the situation continues, will Najib again whisper in the phone to the Bank Negara governor calling her to starting printing more cash? Let's watch...
