This evening at 4.40 p.m the eight (8) member HRP & Hindraf delegation left for New Delhi to attend the Pravasi Bharathiya Divas International Indian diaspora representing 25 million successful Indian diaspora from 122 countries worldwide except in “Malay-sia, the world’s only failed Indian diaspora, which is the motto of our campaign at this year’s 2011 Pravasi Conference.

That is to draw attention to the UMNO socially engineered Indian poor diaspora in Malay-sia.

Later this evening, 3/1/11 at 7.00 p.m, HRP/Hindraf is scheduled to meet Indian lawyers sympathetic to Hindraf and HRP at Bangali Market Street.

On the morning of 4th January we would be meeting the All Indian Networking Station (IANS) media and other Indian media for interviews. At 9.00 p.m on 4/1/11 a lecture has been scheduled for Mr. P. Uthayakumar at the Jawaharal Nehru University in New Delhi.

Like in January 2010 the Hindraf & HRP delegation is also expected to pay a courtesy call on Indian External Affairs Minister Mr. S. M. Krishna, Opposition Leader Madam Sushma Swaraj, Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani and present them with Hindraf’s Annual ‘Malaysian Indian Minority & Human Rights Violations Annual Report 2010. This Annual report would also be distributed to the 2,000 or so delegates at the said Pravasi Conference.

We will keep readers updated on a day to day basis on this and a host of other engagements that we have scheduled We are excepted back on the 11th of January 2011.

We hope to launch the Indian Parliamentary Caucas on Malaysian Indians (IPCMI) on the 8th of January 2011 in the backdrop of the irony being that there are some 11 (ineffective and powerless) Indian mandore MP’s in P.R. and another four from B.N.
