Apex Federal Court dismisses Hindraf lawyers’ Sedition charge appeal originally dismissed by Klang Sessions Court Junaidah (thereafter punished by her sacking as Judge).
This morning at 10.00 a.m Federal Court Judges Hashim bin Yusof, Mohd raus and Richard Malajum unanimously dismissed the appeal by Hindraf lawyers P.Uthayakumar, P.Waytha Moorthy and another for the criminal charges against them to be rendered groundless and to remain discharged as per the original decision by Klang Sessions Court Judge at the height of the 25th November 2007 Hindraf Rally.
After delivering this decision on 26/11/2007, within weeks this Judge Junaidah was suspended as a Judge. There after she was prosecuted for some unprecedented criminal charges of “tampering” with court records and then dismissed for dispensing justice for the Hindraf lawyers.
And today the Federal Court did not undo the injustices to this Sessions Judge at the very least by upholding her original judgement by dismissing the charges against the said Hindraf lawyers.
Justice must not only be done but must manifestedly and undoubtedly be seen to be done.
