kalimah Allah.
Setiausaha Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS), Datuk Misri Idris
Kontroversi berkaitan kalimah Allah timbul semula berikutan gesaan
Misri menegaskan bahawa Enakmen Ugama Bukan Islam (Kawalan
Perkembangan Di Kalangan Orang Islam) 1988 yang digubal pada bulan April
1988 dan dikuatkuasakan sejak Julai 1988 melarang penggunaan kalimah
Allah.
Misri menambah bahawa baginda turut menitahkan orang bukan Islam agar

Sorry I'm with the Sultan on this one. Try to see it our way, bro. Its just not worth all the fuss. Stick to Jesus (PBUH), The Lord, or anything else but. I'm not being political, just rational.

You still can sing, but try replacing the word Allah with Lord. It goes like this ...
Duli Yang Maha Mulia
Selamat di atas takhta
Our Lord lanjutkan usia tuanku
Rakyat mohon restu
Bawah Duli tuanku
Bahagia selama-lamanya
Aman dan sentosa
Duli Yang Maha Mulia
Or maybe, you don't have to because you are banned from saying the word altogether.

If I use "Our Lord lanjutkan usia tuanku", then I am asking a Christian God or Lord Jesus (because Lord/Lord Jesus is widely used in the English bible) to bless Tuanku. Will Tuanku mind because he is a Muslim but I am a Christian? (Though I do not mind at all because God asks us to love and pray for everyone, even our enemies.) Will I be making an offence then?

This is the problem with Malaysia, always a bar but never a solution. I'm sorry, the whole 'I said so' excuse just doesn't cut it anymore, not in the 21st century. If they want the Allah issue to go away, think of an alternative, one which would make both Muslims and Christians happy. Not ban the world and offer no solution. It's like a parent telling his or her child not to so something and say "Because I said so" as an excuse when confronted with a why. The Christians can't use the world 'Allah', Why? "Because as Sultan I said so". Let us all scratch our heads in frustration.Daisy Tan · Top Commenter

With all due respect, Sultan. Anyone knows the origin of the word "Allah"? If Allah is GOD in English and it cannot be used by Christian who speaks Malay then wouldn't it be wrong to use the Word "GOD" in the english version of the Hoy Quran since the christian uses the word GOD in the HolyBible. Eitherway if the two words "Allah" and "GOd" is used for blasemy then it is wrong..But if it is used for the personal religious faith and believes is it wrong? When I say " Oh my GOD" Do I refer to the budhist GOD or the Hindu God?

If yoy are not aware of, Christian believe the God created first Human Beings (Adam & Eve) .. Muslims believed god created first Human beings (Adam & Hawa)... Christian believe in Prophet Abraham & Prophet Moses (Muslim believe in Prophet Ibrahim/actually Abraham & Nabi Musa -Actually Moses)..
So Christians is worshiping God of Adam/Abraham/Moses .... Muslims too worshipping God of Adam, Abraham(Ibrahim) and Moses(Nabi Musa)....
So what is the deduction from this facts?

I hope JAIS will make as many arrests as possible and charge them in court. I hope they do it before the General Election. Seize all the Bibles which are in use with the forbidden words and charge the users in court. Do not forget the Sikh holy books in the Guruduwaras!
